After Utah, we took off to Aspen, Colorado. None of us had ever been here before and did not know what to expect -- WOW! Aspen is BEAUTIFUL!!! The nice thing about having a RV is that we are our own "traveling hotel" and can pretty much do our own thing with no planning or reservations ahead of time. We went to the National Parks office and found a campsite up in the National Forest that was breathtaking. We spent a day hiking up to a mountain lake and waterfall and had a picnic lunch up there. These kids are quite the hikers! The next day in Aspen the 3 older kids went on a white water trip, which they LOVED (no pictures) while Addi and I went and played in the town. What a cute, expensive little shopping village it is!

Oh my gosh that picture right above this of the kids in front of the lake is BREATHTAKING!!! Fun times!
