Destin Beach, Florida

We were so excited for our summer vacation this year. It was one that we have all been looking forward to for quite some time. We started out our trip at the beach in Destin, Florida. I had always heard that it was a beautiful beach...wow, they were right! We LOVED it! The sand was white and soft like baby powder and the water was clear. No nasty floating seaweed, no jellyfish, perfect boogy boarding waves, and lots of shells to be collected. We spent two days there and actually wished for longer. We got FRIED - even with reapplied sunscreen every 3 hours! The kids all are champion boogy boarders now too! We can't wait to go back sometime and have decided Galveston is out for us now...we will drive a few more hours to Destin instead.
