"When in Guatemala, do as the Guatamalans do!" This we did! We had a traditional Guatemalan dinner and pinata for Christmas Eve. It was delicious: black beans, steak, empanadas, guacamole, plantains, fruit, and dessert. The kids also performed the nativity play (this year with costumes made out of towels and blankets) and we held the annual talent show. It was an enjoyable evening and so fun to be with Mom and Dad!
