We had the opportunity to go to California over Spring Break for Aunt Maryann and Bryan's wedding. We decided to make a family vacation out of it and had a blast! We drove the 22 hour drive STRAIGHT through. Jason was a rock star driver and never even pulled over to sleep or rest. The kids did overall really good. There was not much sleeping but they stayed in their car seats and seatbelts the whole time. The "ditty bag" of treats was quite helpful too! The first night we got there we went to play at Huntington Beach. The next day we went back again. The water was VERY cold but the kids braved it anyway. Addi was not too sure of the sand at first, but then loved walking in it and running from the waves.
