A few weeks ago Jason and I were able to go and visit my Mom and Dad in Guatemala. We had an amazing time! We flew in on a Thursday night and spent that evening staying up late talking. Friday we drove out to Antigua and had a yummy lunch, did some shopping, and went zip lining. That evening we drove to La Reunion resort (you would not believe you can find this nice of a place in Guatemala) and spent an enjoyable evening there. Saturday we worked out, had breakfast, and then drove to Lake Atitlan. This place is gorgeous - surrounded by volcanoes. We had an enjoyable evening of game playing, dinner, and a hot tub soak. Unfortunantly I got a case of the "travelers bug" there though. We went to church there and then drove back to Guatemala City. Monday we toured around Guatemala City - walked the neighborhoods, went to the relief map, the mall, the MTC and Temple, ran some errands, and had our last delicious dinner in Guatemala. We flew our Tuesday morning. We LOVED the time alone with Mom and Dad and are go grateful to them for bringing us out to visit them and providing such a nice trip!
