Hailee participated in the Youth Fair again this year and is doing a fabulous job! It is a whole week of BUSY activities. She was nominated to be the 4H Princess of our city and is in the running to be the Rodeo Princess of the area. She will find out Saturday night how she did on that. Monday night was the dinner for the princess and queen candidates. She also spent the afternoon making orange rolls to enter in the fair with Grandma. She ended up taking First Place with those and made the auction for them. On Tuesday night she finished her scrapbook and granola to enter also. We also had to get her chickens ready. Wednesday was her chicken show. She entered 3 roosters and 3 hens and you had to have 3 people to hold them during the judging. My dad was SO kind to come help hold chickens. Hailee did a great job showing and actually won Grand Champion in Showmanship and won an awesome belt buckle for it. She did not place with her chickens, but still did fabulous even with all of the chicken poop she got on her!
