Jason has been waiting forever to participate in Brady's first pinewood derby. It finally came! Jason and Brady built a pinewood derby car as well as built one for Megan and Jason. They both won first place! They had a kid division as well as a father division. Brady had to compete in 4 heats and advanced in them all. The last race was very close but Brady won! In the dad's race there were no rules. Jason's car weighed 9 ounces but it was not the weight that won it. He says it was "a secret technique". Funny, but it worked! Brady's car is the red with yellow stripe one and Jason and Megan's is the black one. Brady won a giant candy and cookie award. What a fun evening!

Congratulatons Brady (and Jason)! That's fantastic, quite the fancy pinewood derby car and WHAT A PRIZE!!!!!! Forget the blue ribbon! Brady, STOP growing up so fast! I love you all!
